Please be advised that as of August 1, 2009, after 21 years in the building, we will no longer be the in-house dive operator for Cozumel Palace. Palace Resorts has made Aqua World, a large dive shop chain, the watersports operator for the all their resorts. They also own the Ultramar ferry boats, which Palace consumes by the thousands, and they packaged a deal Palace could not refuse.
However, we would still love to have the opportunity be of service to you. Our waterfront shop is just 3 blocks north of the Cozumel Palace, a five minute walk, and our diveboats can pick you up at the Palace dock once you have stopped in to register.
I firmly believe that no other dive operation can offer the level of service and expertise of Aqua Safari after 42 years in the dive business.
WHERE WE PICK UP
Our
dive boats depart from the private Aqua Safari dock
at the downtown shop and can pick up divers at Cozumel
Palace, Barracuda, El Cantil
Condos, Hotel Cozumel & Resort, Caribe Blu, Villablanca, Casa del
Mar, El Cid / La Ceiba, Park Royal, Presidente Intercontinental & Fiesta
Americana Reef, Wyndham, and Aura.
CRUISE SHIP DIVERS
Aqua
Safari is not more than a 5 minute walk or 5-10 minute
taxi ride from the 3 cruise ship terminals
on Cozumel, making it a convenient way to avoid the
crowds on the dive trips arranged by the cruise ships.
However, you must leave enough time to allow for
disembarking the ship and getting to
the dive shop. We recommend at least 1.5 hours between your ship’s
scheduled time of arrival and the departure time of the dive trip you have reserved.
